This ink and watercolour painting is inspired by my walks along the river, especially at dusk. The fading light, the last of the swallows dancing across the surface of the water, seeds scattering on the breeze, all the stories of the day drifting away; the river ‘settling’ for the night… A gentle moment to end my day…
